Attendance arrangements are published for a sitting, committee meeting or evidence session only when the responsible House or committee has authorised public attendance and provided joining or access information.

Committees and evidence
Where a committee opens an inquiry, seeks written evidence or invites witnesses, the call and submission arrangements are published on that committee’s page.
Petitions and public engagement
Formal parliamentary petitions use the procedure authorised by the relevant House. Informal polls, Discord messages and public requests do not become parliamentary petitions by being sent to Parliament.
Digital access is practical access, not constitutional authority.
Where Parliament uses Discord, Roblox or another digital service for a hearing, event or public engagement activity, the parliamentary authority comes from the House, committee or office conducting it, not from the platform permissions.
